Each player's points, rebounds and assists are weighted to produce a team talent score. That score determines your projected win total across a full season — 82 games for NBA, 38 for EuroLeague. Depth matters: a balanced five beats a one-star team every time.
No. Each spin draws a team you haven't seen yet in that game. You won't repeat teams within a single draft session.
Casual shows full ratings and stats — pick the best player easily. Superfan shows names and positions only, so you need to know your basketball. Expert adds a salary cap, stopping you from stacking superstars. Superfan adds 500 points to your score, Expert adds 1,000 — rewarding the harder challenge.
Your Team Rating is out of 10,000. Up to 8,000 points comes from the quality of your five picks — each player's rating is squared, so a 99-rated player is worth dramatically more than a 90. Up to 2,000 more comes from your season record. A perfect unbeaten season gives the full 2,000, meaning two identical teams can score differently based on how their season went.
Bonuses reward building a real basketball team, not just stacking the five highest ratings. A PG averaging 7+ assists earns Pass the Rock (+400). Two bigs with strong rebounding earns Twin Towers (+250). A truly balanced PG/wing/big lineup earns Balanced Roster (+300). An all-around star averaging points, rebounds and assists earns All-Around Star (+500). Penalties punish broken rosters — no point guard costs you 250 points, no bigs costs 300, and three or more guards with no centre costs 300. Stats thresholds are adjusted between NBA and EuroLeague to account for the different scoring environments.
The GOAT List ranks everyone by Team Rating. All difficulties compete on the same leaderboard with their bonuses applied, so a great Expert team can outscore a Casual team even with a lower base rating. Any completed season earns a place. Unbeaten seasons are marked with a 🏆.
